Hypercar performance meets the plug-in hybrid

You don't just unplug the AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE, you unleash it. A handcrafted 4.0L biturbo V8 conspires with an electric rear motor with its own 2-speed gearbox plus an advanced hybrid battery. Together they can turn 805 hp and 1,047 lb-ft of torque into 60 mph in a 2.7-second flash.

Response and revs in ideal ratios

The acclaimed AMG SPEEDSHIFT^® MCT 9-speed transmission features a wet startup clutch in place of a conventional torque converter, for lighter weight, lower inertia, quicker shifts and heightened emotions. Shift paddles stay fingertip close on the AMG Performance steering wheel.

Airflow over, under and into the GT is actively managed to benefit roadholding, cooling and drag reduction. Active AIRPANEL louvers in the lower intake can open as needed to optimize underhood temperatures. An active carbon fiber underbody element can help draw the car closer to the pavement and reduce front-axle lift.

Power front seats feature intuitive, seat-shaped controls on the door, plus a 4-way power lumbar support. To set and save your ideal driving position, a memory system for each front seat recalls three stored positions for the seat, plus the positions of the 4-way power steering column and side mirrors for the driver. Standard heating with automatic timed step-down adds soothing, controlled comfort in cool weather.

Power-folding side mirrors
