Rear 215kW permanently synchronous electric motor

Smooth, quiet and rich in torque, the EQE 350+ Sedan is powered by an advanced 215kW electric motor that can send up to 288 hp and 391-ft of torque to the rear wheels. The "permanently excited synchronous motor" (PSM) features permanent magnets to generate AC current with high power density and efficiency. An advanced cooling system helps maintain consistent response during spirited driving and a wide range of climates.

Advanced 90.6-kWh EV battery

Advanced battery technology in the EQE offers significantly higher energy density. The high-voltage battery's energy content of more than 90 kWh is managed by innovative software, developed by Mercedes-Benz, that can be updated over the air, without a dealer visit, to help maintain its performance throughout its long lifespan.

LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) and all other front light functions are integrated with the flowing sculpture of the headlamp assemblies, making the design as appealing as it is illuminating. The taillamps feature a full-width LED accent with a distinctive helix effect.

Offering both front- and rear-seat passengers sweeping skyward views, this fully functional glass sunroof features a front panel that can either tilt up for ventilation or slide over the rear panel for an open-air feeling. Dual interior power shades with controls allow the driver and each rear passenger to adjust the amount of sunlight entering the cabin.

12.3-inch digital instrument cluster

A 12.3-inch high-resolution color display offers customizable instrumentation. Selectable designs combine analog-style gauges with digital and graphical readouts tailored exclusively for electric driving. Illustrated and animated menus include readouts for vehicle information, feature settings and driver-assistance systems. It's easy to scroll through the menus via the left steering-wheel Touch Control Button.

Electronic trunk closer

For added convenience in the rain or with an armful of packages, you can fully open the trunk via a switch on the driver’s interior door panel or a button on the SmartKey remote. Press a button on the underside of the trunk lid and it powers itself closed. A sensor can automatically stop the lid if it detects an obstruction while closing, and the opening height can be easily set to a lower limit for low garages.

Pre-entry climate control

You can precondition the cabin comfort while the EQE is plugged in, before you even enter. The start time and settings for the climate control, along with activation of seat heating or available ventilation, can be preselected via controls in the cabin or turned on via the Mercedes me connect app on your smartphone. With optional Energizing Air Control Plus, the cabin air can even be pre-purified. Preconditioning while the car is charging helps to extend your driving range once you're underway.

Energizing seat kinetics

Selectable via MBUX is a program that can minutely adjust the seat cushion and backrest, as well as the multicontour lumbar supports, on an ongoing basis while you drive. The virtually imperceptible adjustments can help reduce driving fatigue based on a patented algorithm.

64-color LED ambient lighting

A network of LEDs let you create cabin ambience to suit your mood. Edge-lighting glows along the dash, door trim, and even the outline of each front seatback. Along with 64 selectable colors and day/night brightness modes, numerous programs let you enjoy static or slowly changing multicolor motifs.

PARKTRONIC with Active Parking Assist

Active Parking Assist can search for suitable parallel or perpendicular parking spaces to either side as you drive by. Choose a space to pull or back into, and it can expertly shift, steer and brake for you. When it's time to leave, it can also steer you back out. In any low-speed maneuver, PARKTRONIC sensors in the front and rear bumpers help detect nearby objects within their field of view. Audible signals and illuminated displays in the cabin help you navigate tight spaces with confidence.

Blind Spot Assist

When traveling above approximately 20 mph, radar technology can help sense when a vehicle enters the blind-spot area. Blind Spot Assist can then alert the driver via an illuminated red icon in the appropriate side mirror. An audible warning sounds if the driver activates a turn signal while a vehicle is detected in the blind spot.

PRE-SAFE Sound

An important enhancement to the industry-first PRE-SAFE^® system can help reduce the effects of a collision on occupants' hearing. When the sensors of PRE-SAFE detect an impending impact, it can emit a special "pink noise" tone via the audio system just before the collision. The tone's frequency is tuned to pre-trigger a natural reflex within the human ear canal that helps shut out loud noises in advance of the actual impact.
